What’s cooking in the gift world? Lots of people! Some 43 percent of voters in this week’s poll are cooking at home more often in response to the current economic climate. But it hasn’t turned most of us into price-driven shoppers: not quite 9 percent are clipping coupons. That’s the same percentage as have moved back in with their parents! Not a single respondent chose carpooling, in spite of rising gas prices, and it is business as usual for the 39 percent who are doing none of the above. Got a hot tip for beating the economic blahs? Let us know at mschwartz@reedbusiness.com.
