Don’t rush the season! At least that’s the impression we got from respondents to last week’s poll asking readers when they put out Christmas decorations and products. The majority, at nearly 38 percent, said after Halloween, while a close second at just over 31 percent of the vote, opted for post Thanksgiving. Another 20 percent preferred after Labor Day. We definitely think some of our readers are really kids at heart (and we do mean, really), because nearly 7 percent already have their Christmas stuff out. Hmmm…on second thought, maybe that 7 percent represents year-round holiday stores. And then there was the “bah-humbug” vote: nearly 5 percent of respondents said they “don’t do Christmas.”
