In 2001, Vasilio and Wendy Kiniris, owners of Zinc Details in San Francisco, doubled their retail operation, launching a second venue in nearby Berkeley. The new store represented an expansion in merchandise as well as a change of location, as Vasilio and Wendy began featuring a greater variety of product lines.
