BRISTOL, Vt. — Toymaker General Creation is looking to break into the big leagues when it comes to name recognition by becoming the primary sponsor of a NASCAR race car.
Under a deal with Team Bristol Motorsports, General Creation’s Baby Bear character will be featured on Team Bristol’s No. 54 car, a Chevy Monte Carlo driven by racer Kelly Denton in NASCAR’s second-tier Busch circuit. The car will also highlight other General Creation products, including its 30-Second Cotton Candy Maker and Baby Go Boom.
Beyond the PR power of having their toys featured at NASCAR races, General Creation also expects to use the sponsorship to enhance its customer relations, gain new market share and increase sales.
